My name is Harold Mann, but that is not my name.
I work for NEMESIS.
I don’t know what that means.
I WORK FOR NEMESIS, is set in the paranoid world of international espionage in the early 1960s, at the dawn of the Cuban Missile Crisis. It’s about our hero, an experienced secret AGENT, named AGENT…
Midway through a conversation at a café, AGENT realizes he doesn’t remember how he got there, what his mission is or even his real identity. All he remembers is that he’s an Intelligence Officer in the employ of NEMESIS, the ultra-secret counterintelligence agency.
It’s the early 1960s and an exciting time for our country. The War has been over for over a decade, but the specter of Bolshevism and foreign domination threatens to spread to every corner of the earth. The sinister forces of The Opposition infiltrate our streets, our schools and libraries, our government – even the spy agencies that protect us.
As he struggles to reclaim his memory and complete his forgotten mission, AGENT learns just how crazy you have to be to survive as a spy in a world where blowing up the entire planet is considered a viable military strategy. A routine mission turns into a molehunt, which turns into a fight for his sanity against forces challenging even his perception of time and space.
